CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — TerraVita 2018, the food event's ninth year, will kick off Wednesday, October 17, with the East Meets West dinner (the first year at The Carolina Inn) and end on October 20 with the Fall Fête on The Green in Southern Village. 

In between, the event features a special dinner in celebration of the South's legendary Edna Lewis; the Hill Fire dinner at Carrboro Town Commons; a walking culinary exploration of downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill with mini-classes along the way; the Sustainable Classroom; and giving back to the community through a collaboration with TABLE and partner agency Hungry Harvest. 

Tickets will go on sale Friday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. at terravitafest.com.
