Morgan Street Food Hall Opens July 23 in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — Morgan Street Food Hall, the highly anticipated multi-vendor food hall in downtown Raleigh’s Warehouse District, announces it will open its doors to the public July 23, 2018. The repurposed warehouse, measuring 22,000 square feet, will provide residents, workers and visitors a unique dining experience from a wide variety of local chefs, restauranteurs, and purveyors.

The first of its kind in Raleigh, the Morgan Street Food Hall will feature 20 culinary concepts ensconced in fully-outfitted spaces offering cooked-to-order meals and snacks, two shipping containers, five kiosks offering specialty foods like crepes, Thai rolled ice cream and bubble tea, as well as specialized retail carts selling packaged food and culinary-related items. The food hall will also house two bars, “The Arbor” includes both indoor and beautiful outdoor landscaped patio space, and “Auntie Betty’s” a small and quaint gin and cocktail bar.

With options for everyone, many of the culinary offerings in the food hall already have a loyal following throughout the Triangle, either via brick-and-mortar locations or food trucks. You’ll find an outpost of Makus Empanadas featuring authentic Argentinian empanada recipes; Carroll’s Kitchen, a non-profit dedicated to ending homelessness for women in Raleigh through culinary training; and Sassool, a Mediterranean restaurant which began with a bakery in 1977, to name just a few. The food hall is also where four of the area’s most celebrated food trucks — Cousins Maine Lobster, Oak City Fish & Chips, Curry in a Hurry and Cocoa Forte — will put down roots for their first standalone restaurants. There are several new concepts like Cow Bar, a handcrafted artisan burger joint by Chef Dan Yeager, as well as Hook & Cleaver, a boutique butcher and fresh food market. A full vendor list can be found here.

Morgan Street Food Hall is located at 411 West Morgan St., Raleigh, NC and will be open Sunday – Wednesday from 7 am to 10 pm and Thursday – Saturday from 7 am to 2 am. Individual vendor hours may vary.
